Justin Doellman was the MVP of Eurocup’s finals, the leader of Valencia and also the MVP of Liga Endesa. He is also one of the hottest name in the European market which is just heating up, despite having a contract for one more season with Valencia.
This is hardly a secret. Expect Doellman to end up elsewhere, with Valencia getting a 60.000 euros buy out and him the biggest contract of his career. As we have reported since February, Anadolu Efes and Real Madrid were more than interested on his case. However during the last weeks there are more than many rumors about Barcelona entering the stage and being at this point the front runner for getting his services.
How things are going to play out? It seems that Doellman would love to stay in Spain for the rest of his career – he said so in his MVP interview in ACB.com – and if two of the biggest clubs in Europe are interested on him, he can’t get anything much better anywhere else in the old continent.
