The report of “El Mundo Deportivo” about Vasilis Spanoulis wanting to leave Greece was denied by the club. Eurohoops contacted the Reds and their answer was: “There was never such a demand”.
The Reds have already started planning for next season with coach Giorgos Bartzokas, who also has a contract for next season, examining the possible options in the summer market. Spanoulis is expected to be once more the cornerstone of the team. However it’s possible for him to miss the upcoming FIBA World Cup, because of his injury woes during last season.
