It was an afternoon to remember for Elan Chalon and specially for 29 years old Ilian Evtimov. Chalon won the French cup final against Limoges (83-75), got the trophy for the second consecutive season and had a great game by Ilian Evtimov, son of Bulgarian basketball player Ilija Evtimov and younger brother of Vasco Evtimov.
Ilian scored 28 points with 8/16 three point attempts and stole the show from his teammate Blake Schilb who started the game on fire and finished with 24 points, 5 steals and 5 assists. Limoges, the team on top of the standings in the second French division, did its best, but it was not enough.
