The big target of Panathinaikos in the summer market is Nick Calathes. But the Greek-Αmerican who has a contract with a team option in Memphis, can’t accept yet any offer from Europe and that’s why the Greens are examining more options from the NBA free agents list.
Αccording to sources inside the Greek champions, on top of their wishlist is Jimmer Fredette who started his career as a member of the Sacramento Kings (2011-2014) and finished last season with the Chicago Bulls. The 25year-old American is quite a different player in comparison to Calathes. Specially during his NCAA days he was a pure scorer, but Panathinaikos considers him a viable alternative.
