Only details are left for the signing of 30 years old American guard Όliver Lafayette by Olympiacos. The player had a solid season as a member of Valencia, winning the Eurocup and having a great run in Liga Endesa.
Lafayette is a free agent, he was offered long ago to the Greeks, he is a player that fits coach Bartzokas’ plans and the official announcement of the transaction is just a matter of time.
The final deal is expected to be a two years contract, which includes a team option after the first season, like in most of the contracts offered by Olympiacos. According to Eurohoops sources the total deal will be worth 1,4 million dollars, including bonuses.
