After two great seasons with Panathinaikos, Stephane Lasme decided to sign with Efes Anadolu, his seventh team during the last seven years, while Olympiacos announced the signing of Oliver Lafayette for the next two seasons.

The Gabonese center will be part of the new Dusan Ivkovic’s project in Istanbul. Panathinaikos had the chance to keep him, but decided to use the opt out clause. Some days later, Lasme spoke to Eurohoops about his future. Efes moved fast, offered him a contract and now we have a deal for the next 1+1 years.

Olympiacos, as it was expected since yesterday, concluded the deal with Lafayette who is leaving Valencia and signed also a 1+1 contract. Coach Bartzokas picked him, considering him a great on the ball defender who can create a great couple with Vasilis Spanoulis.

UPDATE: As it was long rumored, now the Croatian olympic comittee confirms that Oliver Lafayette is going to get a Croatian passport.
