Nenad Krstic to Efes for 2 seasons

It was expected long time ago and now it’s official. Nenand Krstic is the new center of Anadolou Efes! The Serbian center had another season in his contract with CSKA, but the Russian club had the option to terminate it. That happened three days ago and the next move for Krstic was to sign a two years contract with Efes.

According to Eurohoops’ sources, his salary is going to be at least 35% less, than his previous one in Moscow, but this doesn’t come as a surprise. On one hand CSKA failed in the last three Final Fours and on the other his desire to work with his mentor Dusan Ivkovic was so strong, that he didn’t mind the pay cut.

All these things were enough for the two parts in order to strike an agreement which was officially announced today by the Turkish club which has moved methodically and fast in this season’s market. Krstic and Lasme will create an excellent tandem in position “5”, as there are totally different and can compliment each other.
