After getting the Euroleague wild card, Alba Berlin also re-signed its coach. Sasa Obradovic, an icon for the team, has a deal for next season with a extension option for the 2015-16 season. Also Lukic is near Banvit and Mahmuti is closing to Darussafaka.
For Obradovic, this was not a hard decision, as he feels right at home in Alba, as he had said in his recent Eurohoops interview. Serbian Zoran Lukic, as reported by the always reliable Djordje Matic, after leading Niznhy Novgorod in Euroleague is leaving for Banvit which had a great year and finished on top of TBL’s regular season. As for coach Mahmuti, after the brief flirt of Darussafaka with Greek coach Fotis Katsikaris, he seems to be the right man for the ambitious club which will also play in TBL next season.
