As Eurohoops had reported long ago, Fenerbahce/ Ulker was working on the possibility of signing Bogdan Bogdanovic, something that was at the time denied by Fener, Partizan’s coach Dule Vujosevic and also Bogdanovic’s agent Alex Raskovic. However, after being drafted by the Phoenix Suns, Bogdanovic is ready to leave Belgrade but now the question is if he will end up in Istanbul, Moscow, or even in the NBA.
According to Eurohoops sources, Fenerbahce/ Ulker is offering a multiyear deal with one million euros net salary per season, plus bonuses, to Euroleague’s Rising Star award winner. CSKA Moscow on the other hands was ready to outbid the Turkish club and the Russians are giving to Bogdanovic a 2+1 contract.
Despite the money difference, Fenerbahce/ Ulker seems to have the advantage. Zeljko Obradovic, the Serb coach of the Turks, is a Partizan legend, and he also shares the same agent with Bogdanovic. In every case, Partizan will receive a buy out for the player which is rumored to be around one million euros.
On top of that, the transfer of Bogdanovic seems to be linked to the possible return of Nando De Colo to Europe. We have also reported that there’s a market for him in Europe if he returns from the NBA, with Fenerbahce/ Ulker being also in the mix. According to “L’Equipe” De Colo has an offer from CSKA Moscow and it seems unlikely that he can be paired up with Bogdanovic.
