Janis Strelnieks after his season with Budivelnyk in Euroleague turned some heads, but not only CSKA Moscow is interested on him. According to Eurohoops sources the Latvian point guard is also a target of Eurocup winner Valencia, despite the fact that the Russians have more money to spend.
The tense situation in Ukraine is the reason for a mass exodus of foreign players, which started during the season and it just doesn’t seem to end. In theory, Strelnieks might have a much more important role in Valencia than in the crowded back court of CSKA.
