Anadolu Efes had the chance to close the series against Banvit at Istanbul, but it failed. Playing without Sasha Vujacic, Efes lost 73-71 (2-2) and now the club from Bandirma will have a home game, the fifth and last in the series, in which the winner will gain a place in the Turkish league finals against Besiktas.

Bosnian forward Kenan Bajaramovic with 17 points, 6 rebound and 5 assists and American Charles Davis with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists were the best players on the court. For Efes, Cenk Akyol also with 17 points was the top scorer.

There was, however, a minor controversy in the final minute of the game. Banvit was leading 72-69, Efes‘ Kerem Tunceri pulled up for a three point shot, he was fouled but the referees decided to award him with two free throws for no obvious reason.
