CSKA Moscow announced the signing of Nando De Colo with a 2+1 contract and lured him back to Europe. His net annual salary is reportedly 1,5 million euros and he became the first French player to ever wear the jersey of CSKA.
Eurohoops contacted his agent Wassim Boutanos and asked him about the decision of his client to leave the NBA. As Boutanos simply said: “Why we have choosen CSKA? There are offers that you can’t refuse”.
CSKA is once again even before the start of the season one of the favorite to win the Euroleague, The French guard will have the chance to get a bigger role and more minutes compared to the NBA and a return to the States in the future is not excluded. De Colo is still considered a restricted free agent of Toronto and as Boutanos said: “After two years Nando will be 29 years old, so if everything goes well, the NBA could be en option again. We will see…”
