Siena has already started the preparation for the semifinals against Dynamo Sassari after the victory in Varese (91-75) in the fourth game of the quarterfinal series. The Italian champions had four players with double-digit points (Andersen 19, MacCalebb 15, Lavrinovic 15, Aradori 11) and qualified to the semifinals by 3-1 wins
In France the play offs started with Nancy being the only team that broke the home court advantage by winning Le Mans (89-64). Orleans (70-68 against Paris-Levallois) and Gravelines (76-73 against Cholet) had hard nights but won and Chalon/Saone had an easier task against Roanne (91-70).
