NCAA champion Niels Giffey is leaving the University of Connecticut and he will became a professional playing back in Germany for Alba Berlin. The 23 years old forward signed a three years deal with the BBL finalist who are preparing for Euroleague’s next season.
Euroleague newcomer Nizhny Novgorod signed power forward Maksim Krivosheev for next season and also VEF Riga which is preparing for the qualifying round announced the addition of forward Mareks Mejeris also with one season deal.
In Eurocup, Pinar Karsiyaka announced the extension of Jon Diebler‘s contract for one more season and PAOK also extended the contracts of veterans Kostas Charalampidis and Giorgos Dedas.
