It was expected for some time and now it’s official. Bojan Bogdanovic left Fenerbahce/ Ulker for the Brooklyn Nets and signed a three years, 10 million dollars contract. The Croatian sharp shooter has the chance to shine in the biggest league of the world, but he may not missed in Istanbul.
Despite his talent, Bojan Bogdanovic was practically replaced by Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic and didn’t convinced the team and its fans that he can be the leader who could lead them to the Euroleague Final Four. Still, the shooting ability of Bogdanovic may be enough in order to give him a role in the Nets‘ rotation, as it also happened with fellow European Mirza Teletovic.
Still the jump to the NBA was almost unexpected before the end of the season, as a new three years contract was under negotiations between the Bojan Bogdanovic and Fenerbahce. At the time he was saying that he wanted to stay in Istanbul and play under coach Obradovic.
