Krka (photo) became champions of Slovenia for third consecutive year and fifth overall in their history by winning Union Olimpija 3-1. Krka didn’t have a very good season in Adriatic league (finished with a 7-19 record) and Eurocup (qualified to Last16, but had there 1-5 wins). So winning the domestic title closed the season successfully.

Five years after being founded, BC Donetsk won the first Ukrainian championship with sweep (4-0) over Azovmas. This trophy was the culmination of an excellent year in which the players of Sasa Obradovic played also in Eurocup’s quarterfinals.
