The release of Jeremy Pargo by CSKA Moscow and his contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv proved to be a much quicker affair than expected. As the Euroleague champions announced, Pargo returned to Tel Aviv and to the team he had led to the Euroleague final back in 2011.
The player signed a two years deal and as coach Guy Goodes said: “Pargo will bring athleticism, attractiveness, ability to adjust, game management, leadership and lots of energy. He is hungry to play and lead and he wants to again demonstrate his high capabilities”.
CSKA Moscow had a contract with him for next season and 2,5 m. dollars, but the Russian club wanted to release him and probably paid part of this sum as a compensation.
