It was Cedrick Banks’ show at “Stade Pierre de Coubertin” in Paris. The American guard of Orleans scored 25 points and led his team in an away win against Paris Levallois (79-73) on Friday night. That’s how Orleans became the first team to qualify in the French league semifinals with a 2-0 sweep.

The tables were turned in the series between Nancy and Le Mans. In Game 1 Nancy broke the home court advantage (89-64), but Le Mans reacted and did the same on Friday night by winning 68-60. It was a hard fought game with American forward Alex Acker (photo) having a double double for Le Mans (10 p., 10 r.) and now the series is tied 1-1.
