It’s the day of the point guards in Euroleague as Zalgiris Kaunas announced the signing of Maalik Wayns (photo) and Nizhny Novgorod extended the contract of Taylor Rochestie. In both cases one year deals are given to two players with very different background.
Rochestie is a veteran in Europe and a key member of the successful last season of Niznhy. He has also played in the Euroleague, as he started last season as a member of Siena. Wayns on the other hand crosses the pond for the first time, after having played in the NBADL and also in the NBA with the Clippers and the Sixers.
