July ends with a bang both in Euroleague and Eurocup. In a relatively slow week, five announcements are made on Thursday with Crvena Zvezda getting Spurs draftee Nemanja Dangubic and qualifying round favorite Unics Kazan adding Viktor Sanikidze.
Dangubic, no54 in the last NBA draft, signed for three seasons with the Serbian club which competes in Euroleague. Ηis contract includes an NBA out clause both at the summer of 2015 and in 2016. Sanikidze after a great season in Zaragoza penned a one year deal, moves to Russia and hopes to return to Euroleague after the 2012-13 experience in Siena. An other team of Euroleague’s qualifying round, Zielona Gora, signed veteran guard Steve Burtt, a proven scorer in European courts.
In Eurocup, ambitious Italian club Reggio Emilia signed a trusty veteran in the face of Darjus Lavrinovic who got a two years deal. Also Gran Canaria added sharp shooter Kyle Kuric also with a two years deal.
