One player is ready to make his Euroleague debut next season and an other wants to leave the top European league. However his current team is not going to let him go and he has a five days deadline from his new suitor in order to get released.

Olympiacos has recently extended the contract of Cedric Simmons, but the player also has a deal with Trabzonspor which flirted with him since the start of the summer and the Turkish side recently asked the letter of clearance of the player. The Reds are not going to let Simmons walk for free, Trabzonspor is not willing to pay a buy out and at this point the American center has a five days deadline from the Turkish club in order to get released from the Greeks and sign his new contract.

As for the player who will be competing for the first time in Euroleague, he is Shane Olaseni Lawal who signed a one year deal with Italian club Dinamo Sassari.

Also in Eurocup, Darko Planinic, former Maccabi Tel Aviv player who ended the season in Cibona, will continue his career in Montenegro, as a member of Buducnost.
