Kerem Gonlum didn’t want to let his team fail. Anadolu Efes beat Banvit 77-72 on the road and with 3-2 wins qualified to the TBL finals where they will fight against Besiktas for the Turkish championship. The veteran Turk forward had 17 points and 9 rebounds, but Oliver Lafayette with 7 points and three assists made things happen in the end.

For the home team former Michigan State Spartan Kalin Lucas had a huge game with 20 points and 5 assist, but it was not enough. It must be noted that the coach of Anadolu Efes, Greek Ilias Zouros saw the game from the stands, because he was sanctioned from the league for not appearing in the press conference of the previous game. It was his way to protest for the referees.

And for one more game the biggest star of Efes, Slovenian former NBA player Sasha Vujacic didn’t play and nobody knows what will happen in the finals.
