German champions Bayern Munich finally announced the signing of Vasilije Micic who will stay in Bavaria at least until the summer of 2016 with an option for the 2016-17 season. As Eurohoops had reported on the 15th of July, the Sixers draftee who flirted with Anadolu Efes, will be paid one million euros in total if he stays three seasons in Bayern, but he can leave for the NBA after the summer of 2016.
An other player crossed the Atlantic in order to make his European debut. Former Clipper Trey Thompkins who is coming from a severe knee injury, signed a one year deal with Euroleague newcomer Niznhy Novgorod.
Also in Euroleague, Turow Zgorzelec added small forward Christian Eyenga, Neptunas Klaipeda inked veteran forward Donatas Zavackas to a two year deal, Limoges signed for two seasons former Brose Baskets sharp shooter Jamar Smith and last but not least Alba Berlin signed experienced guard Jonathan Tabu for next season.
