After losing Joey Dorsey to Houston, Barcelona got his replacement in the face of German center Tibor Pleiss. The player was released by Baskonia with a modest buy out and signed with the Catalans for two seasons. Now the Spanish champions have to move in order to replace an other player who is leaving them for Houston, Kostas Papanikolaou. The NBA rights of Pleiss belongs to Oklahoma City Thunder and his contract is expected to include an NBA out for next summer, despite no announcement made for this matter.

Meanwhile VEF Riga which is a part of Euroleague’s qualifying round got Latvian forward Aigars Skele and Czech David Jelinek left Baskonia for Karsnye Krylie and VTB league.
