Marcus Williams left Lokomotiv Kuban, but not Euroleague. One of the best American guards in Europe signed with Crvena Zvezda, as he confirmed himself via twitter, replacing DeMarcus Nelson who left for Panathinaikos.
The decision to sign with Serbs means that Williams who had a one million dollars contract in Lokomotiv will get much less for a one year deal. However, his last season in Lokomotiv was less succesful than the previous one in Unicaja and many reports from Russia implied that he never adapted to the system of former coach Evgeny Pashutin.
