The week started with a “bomb” by Lokomotiv Kuban! The Russian club which competes in Eurocup, announced the addition of former NBA player Anthony Randolph (25 year old, 2m.11) with a two years deal!
Anthony Randolph was drafted number 14 after just one season at the NCAA with LSU college and producted good career in several NBA teams (Golden State, New York, Minnesota, Denver Nuggets). He played mainly as a power forward But, in Kuban he is going to play also as a center.
At the same time Cenk Akyol’s agent announced that his player, who was released from Galatasaray, signed with Anadolu Efes and returns to Duda Ivkovic’s team, where he had played for two seasons (2010-2012) in the recent past. This will be his third stint with the club!
At Monday morning, CSKA announced the addition of power forward Demetris Nichols to a one-year deal. He is on a two-week tryout.
