Greek center Ian Vougioukas, who participates in Greek national team’s preparation for Spain2014 remains a free agent after Unics Kazan decided not to keep him for next season, but according to Eurohoops sources he will not take long to put his signature on a new contract.
Some contacts with big clubs in Greece did not go on – mainly because of financial differences – there are also some teams from Russia, but during last days the player is in talks with Dogus Darussafaka.
Coach Oktay Mahmuti still looking for experience and inside scoring and Ian Vougioukas probably seems like a good solution for his team. The requirements of the player remains relatively high and Dogus Darussafaka can be one step ahead of the other teams to lure him.
