Mickael Gelabale participates in the French national team’s training camp for the upcoming World Cup in Spain as a free agent. The experienced French forward, who played last season for Khimki, is still looking for the best option for the next stop in his career. According to sources close to him, he believes that after playing in the World Cup, he will be able to sign in a Euroleague or Eurocup’s team. NBA could be also a choice for him.
However, if he doesn’t have any other offer, then it is likely for him to sign with Strasbourg but only for Euroleague qualifiers! In this way he will help the French team in the qualifying round (Strasbourg faces VEF Riga on 23th September) and then he will be free agent again looking the next station of his career, without excluding the possibility to stay with SIG.
