Khimki started impressively its moves in the transfer market before the end of May, as it is customary the few last years. Eurocup’s winners have already announced four new players as James Augustine, Paul Davis and KC Rivers have been followed by Petteri Koponen. The Finn guard had an excellent season in Virtus Bologna and cashed it by signing a three-year contract with Khmki with an NBA out after the first season.
Also, Spartak St. Petersburg began to dismiss the foreign players of their roster releasing Yotam Halperin, Miha Zupan and Nikola Dragisevic. The Israeli guard wants to return to Maccabi Tel Aviv and play again in NOKIA Arena if he find a solution with his tax problem in his home country.
