Midway FIBA World Cup, Nathan Jawai returned to Galatasaray. The team announced the resigning of the Australian center who missed most of last season due to health issues. However as he is proving with his national team in Spain, those issues are now past. Galatasaray is also expected to add Greek center Ian Vougioukas to the team.
Meanwhile, also in Euroleague, Real Madrid announced that Dani Diez is given on loan to Gipuzkoa of Liga Endesa for next season and Lithuanian newcomer Neptunas signed Raidas Nacius to a two-year contract, while teenage guard Laurynas Beliauskas signed for three.
