It was long rumored and now it’s confirmed. Marcus Slaughter extended his contract with Real Madrid for two more seasons, until the summer of 2016, as his agent Misko Raznatovic announced. The talks started even before the end of the previous season and it remains to be seen what this move means for the negotiations of Real with Mexican Gustavo Ayon.

Also in Euroleague, Nizhny Novgorod announced the addition of forward Will Daniels and Laboral Kutxa added veteran former NBA player Ryan Gomes with a temporary contract which can be extended until the end of the season. A much bigger name signed in ASVEL, which competes in the Euroleague qualifying round, as Australian forward David Andersen, has a two years contract with the team. In Eurocup Olimpija Ljubljana signed point guard Marko Marinovic and Spirou Charleroi signed 21 years old guard Loic Schwartz to a three years contract. Also Partizan signed former Olimpija Ljubljana player Edo Muric.
