After a few months away, Giorgi Shermadini returns to Zaragoza andhe will continue his career with CAI. The Georgian center played great last season but left the team at the end of March in order to sign with Olympiacos until the end of the season with the Reds paying a buy out.
Shermadini leaves Euroleague for Eurocup and on the contrary, Mustafa Shakur returned to Euroleague, this time as a member of Lithuanian club Neptunas Klaienda. Also Euroleague qualifying round hosts, Ostend, added Guy Muya in its roster. French club SIG Strasbourg which prepares for the qualifying round too signed Tadija Dragicevic. Also in Eurocup, Brose Baskets signed only for the regular season of the competition forward Mindaugas Katelynas , while Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd signed rookie guard DeAndre Kane, who arrives from Iowa State University.
