The season starts with a blow for Alba Berlin, as guard Jonathan Tabu due to a tendon injury in his pectoral muscles will keep him out of action for three to four months, as the German club officially announced. The player will have to undergo surgery and that’s why he didn’t travel with the rest of the team to Zagreb for a preparation tournament.
It remains to be seen if a temporal replacement will be signed, since the player is expected to miss most if not all of Euroleague’s regular season.
