Panathinaikos cut Julian Wright

Panathinaikos was looking to fill the gap in the front line with an undersized center and got a deal with Julian Wright. The American player came to Athens but failed the medical tests and just hours after his first visit at OAKA the Greens cut him, deciding not to sign a contract with him.

Wright didn’t play professional basketball since last January when he left Krasnie Krilya and he must search somewhere else for his next team. Panathinaikos will also search for another player to fill the gap in the front line. The Greens are also in the market for a point guard to replace DeMarcus Nelson who will be sidelined the next two months.
