The Lithuanians were close until the 33rd minute but they failed to push CSKA more. The 3rd place game of “Gomelsky Cup” will be player between Nizhny and Lietuvos Ritas and the final will be a “Euroleague classic”, Panathinaikos-CSKA.
Olympiacos in “Petros Oikonomakis” tournament beat Unics Kazan 70-65 with the big shot of the game being a three (68-65) made by Vaggelis Mantzaris. Vasilis Spanoulis who is also suspect for a travelling violation before Mantzaris’ shot, was the top scorer of the winners with 13 points. Keith Langford had 14 for Unics.
