CSKA Moscow prevailed 75-46 over Panathinaikos and won the Gomelsky Cup once more. The Russians are waiting Weems, Khryapa and De Colo to participate in the next games, while Panathinaikos is trying to build its new chemistry

CSKA achieved to win the Gomelsky Cup tournament once more. At the final against “young” Panathinaikos, the hosts got an easy 75-46 win. The Russian team controlled the game and took a 22-12 lead from the start. At halftime Greens were down by 12 points (41-29) and they managed to come closer (41-35) few minutes after the start of the 2nd half. At that point Nichols and Markoisvhili did some damage with good execution from outside, CSKA extended the lead to 20 (60-40) and coach Ivanovic gave minutes to the young players of the Greek team. So, with a 23-6 partial score at last period, finally the hosts closed the game with a 29 points advantage.

In the match for the 3rd place Lietuvos Rytas got a win over Nizhny Novgorod (82-66) which can be a boost for the team’s moral. Antanas Kavaliauskas with 17 points was the top scorer of the winners.
