The finals of Liga Endesa started in a thrilling way on Wednesday night. Barcelona seemed lost for three quarters, trailing by 12 points and Real Madrid was ready for the break. It should have been the story of the game, but Marcelinho Huertas had an other opinion.

The Brazilian guard of Barcelona scored a buzzer beater three that gave Barca the win with 81-80 and the lead in Spanish finals. Juan Carlos Navarro with 21 points was the top scorer for the winners and Jaycee Carroll finished with 18 points for Real.

In Germany, Brose Baskets was the boss in Ratiopharm Ulm’s court at the finals. The defending champions beat the hosts by 16 points (86-70), have a 2-0 lead and their “three-pet” seems more than possible. Slovakian guard Anton Gavel with 22 points and 4 assists had a big game.

In Poland, Assecco Prokom won its ninth straight title by beating Trefl Sopot 76-68 in Game 7 of the finals. Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas with 23 points and 11 rebounds dominated the paint and lead Prokom to a relatively easy victory.

In France, Cholet tied their semifinals series (1-1) after a 75-71 win against Le Mans. Fabien Causer was the top scorer of the winners with 18 points.
