The addition of Sasha Vujacic is not the end of Laboral Kutxa’s hunt in the market. With Orlando Johnson on the exit door, the team needs also a point guard and there seems to be a two horse race for this position between Diante Garrett and Casper Ware.
Both players were cut from the NBA and they are in search of their new team, both are point guards and both have European experience. However Garrett (photo), who can also be used as a shooting guard, seems to be a more intriguing choice than Ware who played last season in Legabasket with Bologna and also nine games with the Sixers. Garrett spend the 2011-12 between KK Zagreb and Nanterre and for the last two years he was trying to get a place in the NBA, having played 71 games last season as a member of the Utah Jazz.
