Anadolu Efes got the 67-65 win over Karsiyaka for the fourth gameday of TBL, however the big loss of the winners is center Nenad Krstic. After being hit hard by Mutlu Demir, Krstic suffered an elbow fracture, which is expected to keep him out of the courts for the next 6-8 weeks.
Coach Dusan Ivkovic complained after the game: “I wonder which are the criteria for an unsportsmanlike foul? The referees need to do something to protect the basketball”. Because of this injury at the final buzzer there was tention between Ivkovic’s assistant Vaggelis Aggelou and Karsiyaka’s coach Ufuk Sarica as you can see in the video.
