After one more weekend with 3/5 tips, Eurohoops is also ready for the Euroleague games. Read our predictions for the contests Neptunas-Valencia, Barcelona-Panathinaikos, Bayern-Fenerbahce, Sassari-Zalgiris and Limoges-CSKA.
Panathinaikos comes from two brilliant games against Fenerbahce and Milan but in Barcelona everything is expected to be different. The Catalans have many big guys, they will not allow any easy baskets and open shots. They want to secure the top of the group and they have the opportunity to win by double digits. A good choice is also to bet on Panathinaikos scoring less than 71 points.
Valencia plays better after Buycks’ departure and the team wants to bounce back after the threeearly defeats. The game on road versus Neptunas is a good chance for the players of Perasovic to establish their improvement and the handicap is too small (4,5 points). So, we bet on the Spaniards.
The home game against Zalgiris is the perfect chance for Dynamo Sassari to stop being the only team without win. The Lithuanians played outstanding basketball so far, but of course they don’t have the deepest roster both in quality and personel to continue like this.
Also, Bayern and Fenerbahce score a lot and play up tempo game. In five of the eight games they participated so far in Euroleague, the total score is more than the line (156,5) and in two more the points totals were 155 and 156. We believe that they will score more again.
The game versus CSKA will be the second for Limoges at home after the one against Cedevita. The French team doesn’t score a lot lately and the Russians play very good defense. So, it’s fair to expect that Limoges will score less than 70,5 points.
