American forward Omar Thomas and veteran center Petar Popovic had 23 points and 22 points respectively for the loosing side. It was the 11th consecutive championship of Serbia for Partizan and in total the 19th in their club’s history.

In Italy, EA7 Milano lived to fight at least one more day. The team of coach Sergio Scariolo beat 88-83 Montepaschi Siena and cut their lead in the finals to 3-1 wins. Greek center Yiannis Bourouris after three bad games in the finals scored 19 points for the winners and Italian forward Stefano Mancinelli added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assist.
