Saric doing it like Mirotic

Euroleague announced that Dario Saric is the November MVP. Despite being just 20 years old Saric got the award, emerging as the leader of Efes during the absence of injured Nenad Krstic, following the same path as Chicago Bulls’ Nikola Mirotic.

Back in December of 2011 Mirotic became also the Euroleague MVP of the month, when he emerged as a basic piece in Real Madrid’s roster. Saric is averaging 15.5 points and 7.75 rebounds while making 61% of his two-point shots and at 20 years and 7 months old, he became the youngest MVP of the month ever, being three months younger than Mirotic when he won the award.

It’s not a secret that Saric final destination is going to be the NBA and the Sixers. After all his NBA buy out, according to sources close to the situation, is much more cheaper than the 2,5 m. euros than Bulls and Mirotic had to pay to Real Madrid. So what’s next for him? For starters, the Euroleague rising star award. No other player at this point seems to be a real contender, Saric has the award in his pocket and you can read here what happens with players who have won it. Add to this the fact that Saric is already considered NBA ready as Sixers coach Brett Brown said to Eurohoops during the FIBA World Cup.
