Anadolu Efes is playing against Zalgiris and Donnie McGrath is already in Kaunas as a member of the Turkish team. However Lithuania and Zalgiris is expected to be also the next stop in his career.
The deal of the experienced guard with Anadolu Efes expires soon, the Turkish team is moving to an other direction and McGrath is on the move. Greek Eurocup participant, PAOK, also contacted him, as McGrath has played for the team in the past and the Greeks need a guard, however an other of his former teams, Zalgiris Kaunas, also wants him. In fact the Lithuanians were also interested in Mike James who ended up in Laboral Kutxa.
Considering the fact that Zalgiris is on track to get a Top16 ticket, the motive of playing in Euroleague seems enough for McGrath to return to Kaunas.
