D’Or Fischer exploded in the game of Unics against Dynamo Sassari. The center of the Russians scored 23 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished 3 assists and had 43 in ranking, the third best performance during the last five seasons in the Euroleague.
The American center is in excellent shape during the last month. He scores 21,3 points per game, grabs 10,6 rebounds per game and blocks 3,3 shots per game. Not so bad… But the night to remember will be that in Sardegna when he made new personal best in ranking (43) after six seasons in the Euroleague. The player with the best ranking in the last five seasons (and sixth best ever) is Bobby Brown, then of Siena, with 50 in a game against Fenerbahce two years ago. That night Brown tied the best scoring record for a single game in the Euroleague history.
During the last five years, Bobby had one more excellent night the same season with a 43 ranking, as much as Fischer, Greer and Pleiss scored. However, Darjus Lavrinovic had a 44 ranking last season with Budivelnik against Nanterre.
