One week before the end of the regular season and everybody must be careful with the teams and the players who haven’t a real motivation to play well and win their games. So Spanoulis and Dubljevic must leave our fantasy team.
The previous week was one of the worst for Eurohoopsnet team not only considering the score but also because of the failure of our trades. We got 140,1 points but at least we have almost 700 credits to bounce back during the Top 16. The trades are unlimited before the start of the next round, so you don’t have to worry if your players have qualified or not.
But this week there are 13 teams who don’t have any real goal in their last regular season game and it’s hard to predict if their stars will play a lot and push themselves to a big score. So, it’s better to avoid them. For example, there is no reason to risk with Vassilis Spanoulis and Bojan Dubljevic. The third one who must leave is Sergio Rodriguez who is injured. We have 198,4 credits and we can buy some really expensive players.
We could change two more players, but Daniel Hackett of Milan is in great shape. He can’t play in the Legabasket, so he explodes in Euroleague. Andrey Vorontsevich comes from a bad game but he can have easily a good score against the weak front line of Limoges.
On the other hand Marjanovic is extremely steady and we trust again Carlos Arroyo because the game against Olympiacos is the last chance of Galatasaray to reach the Top 16. Moreover, we trust Tarence Kinsey, the star of Nizhny, while Taylor Rochestie is injured and of course the leaders of Unics, Langford and Fischer.
Meanwhile, we will add one more player of Unics in front of the do-or-die game vs Nizhny. Curtis Jerrells is underpriced and can give you easily, points and credits. Also, we missed the chance to buy Zoran Erceg last week and we ‘ll do it now. Galatasaray is a mess but the Serbian big guy is almost alone in the front line (he plays more than any other player in the Euroleague this season) and without Aldemir he is able to have always big scores. In addition, Olympiacos doesn’t excell on power forwards’ defense. Our last addition will be Devin Smith, because he’s once again the steadiest player of Maccabi. During this season he had only one bad game, he plays a lot and we expect him to continue doing it.
Enjoy fantasy!
UPDATE: Zoran Erceg will not play against Olympiacos and we chose to pick Art Parakhuski of Nizhny who is steady and must step up for the game against Unics.
