Some days ago, Eurohoops has revealed the deal of Olympiacos in order to sign 16 years old Dzanan Musa as both sides had a verbal agreement. The player was already medically examined by the Greek club back in September, when he traveled to Athens, and only the signatures where missing.
What changed? The agent. Musa is represented by Misko Raznatovic who was not in the picture during the negotiations with Olympiacos. His presence changed the demands of the Bosnian team Kos and Musa from the Greek club, the Reds decided not to change their offer and the young Bosnian prospect ended up in Cedevita with a long term contract and the promise of more money in a future deal for the Bosnian club.

According to sources close to the situation, Kos will get a better percentage in the future buy out of the player (either in Europe or in the NBA) and also his developement is considered “safer” in the junior team of Cedevita, as Olympiacos doesn’t have a tradition in brining up young talent. However, don’t be surprised if his move in Cedevita is made in cooperation with an other big European club, which may be already his future team.
