Paulius Jankunas is the all time fourth leading offensive rebounder in Euroleague! The captain of Zalgiris Kaunas grabbed two more in the game against Sassari and surpassed Mike Batiste.
The Lithuanian big guy who is a faithful “soldier” of Zalgiris (this is his 12th season in the Euroleague, eleven of them are played with the team from Kaunas and one with Khimki) grabbed 349 offensive rebounds in 194 games (1,8 per game) and in front of him there are only Mirsad Turkcan (385), Kerem Gonlum (395) and Felipe Reyes (476).
Zalgiris qualified to the Top 16, so Jankunas will have the chance to pass Mirsad Turksan even during this season.
