The addition of Edwin Jackson was a real blessing for Barcelona, as Juan Carlos Navarro is expected to miss the next six weeks of action due to a torn muscle in his right thigh, suffered during the last Liga Endesa game against Estudiantes.
Navarro, the all time leading scorer of Euroleague (3.547) and also first in game played (266) has already missed four games this season due to injuries and during the last few years he has a long medical history that forces the team to protect him during the season in order to be available in the big games.
