As his current club, Nancy, confirmed in the official report after the game against Pau, Darius Adams is ready to accept the offer made by Laboral Kutxa. The American point guard is expected to replace Thomas Heurtel who is about to leave Vitoria for Istanbul and Anadolu Efes.
The Spanish and the Turkish club seem to be near into finalizing the buy out of Heurtel and at least a part of this money will be used by Laboral Kutxa in order to compensate Nancy for releasing Adams. Still even with Adams coming and Heurtel leaving, more moves are expected to be made in the following days by the Basques.
UPDATE: Today (24/12) Baskonia officially announced the arrival of Darius Adams, so we are waiting the end of Thomas Heurtel gate with the French guard heading to Turkey and Anadolu Efes. Adams’ place in Nancy was taken by experienced American guard Keydren “Kiki” Clark who left Nanterre.
