Pops Mensah-Bonsu has taken his time and finally he decided. The next stop of his career will be AEK Athens, as the two sides have reached an understanding and the British forward will be the big addition of the ambitious Greek club.
According to Eurohoops sources the side of the player decided that for the time being AEK is an opportunity that can be passed. Pops is expected to arrive during the next days in Greece in order to be a part of the team as soon as possible, however he is expected to miss this weekend’s game. The deal between the two sides is expected to include opt out clauses for both sides.
UPDATE: Pops arrived on Saturday to Athens and the team tries to get him eligible for Sunday’s game vs AGOR.
